This is an IN-STORE EVENT with author Rebecca Thorne celebrating A Pirate’s Life for Tea! The event will consist of a 30 minute presentation by the author, followed by a Q&A with the audience, and finally a book signing.
ATTENDING THE EVENT? Purchasing a copy of A PIRATE’S LIFE FOR TEA through Mysterious Galaxy will get you a numbered ticket for the signing line after the event. Only those who have purchased a copy of the book through Mysterious Galaxy will receive a numbered ticket for the signing line. We highly recommend ordering books in advance of the event, as there’s always a chance we will sell out by the event day. Purchasing your books through Mysterious Galaxy allows us to continue to host author events, so we thank you in advance for your support!
How to Order a Signed/Personalized Book if You Are Attending the Event
- Add any of the author’s book to your cart.
- At checkout select “Pickup at Event”. In the event you’re not able to make it, we recommend you also put in the comments whether or not you’d like your book “signed only,” or to whom your book(s) should be personalized (i.e. “To: Ms. Galaxy”). Requests for anything beyond a name, like a note or quote, are up to the author’s discretion and are not guaranteed. Orders must be placed by 12pm pt on the day of the event (November 10th) if you want personalization. Please call the store if you wish to purchase a book, or add/alter personalization to an existing order, after this time.

About the Author
Rebecca Thorne (she/her) is an author of all things fantasy, sci-fi, and romantic, such as the Tomes & Tea series. She thrives on deadlines, averages 2,700 words a day, and tries to write at least 3 books a year. (She also might be a little hyper-focused ADHD.) After years in the traditional publishing space, Rebecca pivoted into self-publishing. Now, she’s found a happy medium as a hybrid author, and leans into her love of teaching by helping other authors find their perfect publication path. When she’s not writing (or avoiding writing), Rebecca can be found traveling the country as a flight attendant, or doing her best impression of a granola-girl hermit with her two dogs. She’s always scheming to move to a mountain town and open a bookshop that serves tea.
