Craft an Ironclad Novel

An ironclad story structure—one with a compelling main character, setting, plot, and stakes—is essential to hooking readers, literary agents, and publishers. This course explores plot structure, character development, and craft tips that will propel your reader through a fantastic narrative. Coursework will include an analysis of plot structure, how to craft fantastic characters, and how stakes and pacing can improve the overall impact of a student’s novel. There are 4 assignments, several discussion topics, and recommended reading. Weekly lectures will also be available.
This class is best suited for authors attempting to write their first fiction book, querying authors swamped in agent rejections, or indie authors who want to hook readers from page 1.
